In Enterprise type systems, it is possible to create new roles with personalized permissions and assign them to the various collaborators on the platform.
In the Roles section, you can view the roles currently in use on the platform and create your own roles. Once a role has been created, you can assign it to a new platform user or change the role of an existing user.
For creating a new role, you need to indicate the name of the role you intend to create and a set of permissions that role will grant to users.
The permissions are of two types:
- Reading guarantees the possibility of reading data relating to a particular entity
- Complete Management guarantees any action on the entity involved, like updating and deleting
Once a role is created you can assign it to an Administrator user from the Administrators section, modifying the Role field.
