Luckey Mobile – Personal PIN and Biometric Authentication
Within the Luckey Mobile Application, it is possible to activate an additional level of security consisting of a five-digit numeric PIN that will be prompted to the user every time the application starts.
Set a personal PIN and Biometric
To activate it go to the Settings menu and start to activate the PIN by clicking on the appropriate section. Upon activation, you will be asked to enter and confirm a 5-digit code.
As the last step you will be asked to activate the additional biometric authentication factor, this step is optional and can be subsequently activated or deactivated by the user.
The biometric authentication, touchId, or faceId can be activated only if the user’s phone supports this type of authentication. If the user’s phone does not have biometric detection sensors, the application will not show this option.
Once the personal PIN has been activated, it is possible to return to the Pin section to:
- Deactivate the personal PIN
- Activate or deactivate biometric recognition
- Change the personal PIN

What happens if I forgot the PIN?
If the user has forgotten his personal PIN, it is possible to start a PIN reset procedure. The procedure consists in sending a OTP Security Code via email to the email address of the user connected to his Luckey account. The user will then be prompted to enter the code received by e-mail. If the code is correct, the user will need to set a new security code to finish the procedure.
