HyperGate Pro
HyperGate Pro is an embedded gateway device that allows the on-line management of gates over Bluetooth protocol. This section will describe the operation and configuration of Sofia HyperGate Pro which allows you to build completely online and wireless access management systems based on ISEO Argo locks. The HyperGate device allows you to remotely update the lock memory (white-list), authorizing or deactivating new users, cards and smartphones. In addition, HyperGate Pro allows remote opening of the door, as well as reading the lock history via browser or smartphone device remotely.

Access Control with HyperGate Pro
HyperGate Pro allows you to build completely online and wireless access management systems based on ISEO Argo locks. The HyperGate device allows you to remotely update the lock memory (white-list), and authorize or deactivate new users, cards, and smartphones. In addition, HyperGate allows remote opening of the passage, as well as reading of the lock history via browser or smartphone device remotely.
HyperGate Pro supports both Bluetooth 4.0 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity to bring online the gates on which an ISEO device from the ARGO line has been installed. The figure shows a Sofia Locks access management system. The characteristics of the cloud system: centralized security, the smart locks of the ISEO Argo line, and the HyperGate Pro devices which makes it possible to connect the locks to the Internet. The role of the gateway is to receive commands from the centralized cloud system and send them to the lock on which you want to act: for example, you can send an opening command, add a badge (or a PIN) to the lock’s memory (white- list) or request to read the access logs.

HyperGate Pro Configuration and Installation
Once the HyperGate Pro is turned on it is necessary to use the mobile configuration application Jago tools to start the configuration. Below we list the steps to take to correctly configure a HyperGate Pro device.
Warning. To ensure safe and protected use of the Sofia Hypergate Pro, we invite you to install it in a suitable and secure location. Please note that Sofia Locks will not be responsible for any damages or tampering that may occur to the device during use. |
HyperGate Pro network configurations
For correct operation, the HyperGate Pro must be correctly connected to an Internet network. The connection can be made either via WPA2 Wi-Fi or via Ethernet. In this step it will therefore be necessary to set the parameters of the network to which you want to connect the HyperGate Pro. In the first place it will therefore be necessary to select the correct type of connection as shown in the figure below. If the Wi-Fi type is selected, it will therefore be necessary to indicate the network name and password. It is possible to configure the network both to work with DHCP and to statically set the various options such as IP and DNS, etc.

Name and PUK Configuration
In this configuration screen, it is possible to set the name of the HyperGate Pro which will be displayed inside the system and the PUK code. As for the HyperGate iOS, the PUK code is required to perform operations via the device, such as remote opening.
Warning – PUK Code. It is very important to keep this code as it is not transmitted in the cloud but remains physically in the device. Sofia does not know and cannot retrieve the PUK but it is possible for the installer to modify it from the HyperGate Pro edit screen on Jago Tools |

Association of Smart Locks with HyperGate Pro
The final configuration step is to pair the locks with the HyperGate Pro. The image belowe shows all the locks visible to the HyperGate Pro via Bluetooth, each lock has a symbol at the top right based on the status of its configuration. By clicking on the lock, you can associate it with the current HyperGate Pro. Once the lock is associated, the image associated with it turns green and by clicking on it you can perform an opening test to check its correct association.
Warning – Set Locks for Configuration. In order to associate a lock with a HyperGate, the lock must be previously correctly associated with the system.Warning – Configuration Distance. For the correct functioning of the system, the locks associated with the HyperGate Pro device must be reachable via the BLE connection at a distance of no more than 10 meters from the HyperGate device |

Change HyperGatw Pro Settings
When a HyperGate Pro is configured correctly it will be shown in the HyperGates section of the Jago Tools application. By clicking on one of the HyperGate Pro will have access to the details menu where you can perform the following actions:
- Edit Network Setting
- Edit PUK Code
- Delete the HyperGate
- Manage Smart Locks
Warning – Edit configurations and Bluetooth range. In order to change the settings of the HyperGate Pro through the Jago Tools application, the device must be within Bluetooth range, otherwise the installer will not be able to change its configurations. The only action allowed will be the cancellation of the HyperGate. |
By clicking on one of the buttons shown in the screens shown in the previous sections with the same functions will be shown.
Delete an HyperGate Pro
It is possible to delete a HyperGate Pro from a system through the detailed configuration menu. There are two ways to remove a HyperGate Pro from a system: Reset Standard and Forced Reset

Standard Reset
The Standard Reset allows you to eliminate the HyperGate Pro from the cloud system and therefore from the system and from the memory of the locks associated with it. This is the recommended option and can be used when the HyperGate Pro is operational and connected to the internet.
Forced Reset
Forced Reset allows you to delete the HyperGate Pro from the system but it will not remove the memory of the locks associated with it. This option is recommended in cases where the locks are no longer accessible by the HyperGate Pro or when the same device is no longer operational or connected to an internet network.
