Check Back Inhibit Time
The Check Back Inhibit Time feature is an advanced security setting designed exclusively for V364/1RIS Smart Locks. It prevents the same credential from being used on the same door for a defined period after a successful access attempt, enhancing control over access flows.
Optimized for Online Doors and Gates
While this feature is available across all V364/1RIS locks, it is most effective on online doors and gates, where configurations can be managed remotely without requiring on-site adjustments.

- On online locks, administrators can configure and update the inhibit time directly from the cloud, ensuring real-time enforcement of security policies.
- On offline locks, configuration changes require manual updates using the Hermes mobile app, making remote adjustments less flexible.
How It Works
- When a credential is used to unlock a V364/1RIS smart lock, the system enforces a inhibit period (configurable in seconds) before allowing the same credential to be reused.
- If a user attempts to use the credential again within this period, access is denied until the timer expires.
- The setting is fully configurable and can be adjusted remotely on online doors, providing maximum flexibility.
Key Benefits
- Prevents unauthorized re-entry and reduces credential misuse, such as tailgating.
- Enables real-time remote management for online doors, eliminating the need for on-site configuration changes.
- Allows administrators to set a inhibit time that aligns with security policies.
- Reduces dependency on the Hermes mobile app for configuration, making it easier to adjust settings dynamically on connected systems.
